I said to Clare at my first session that I just felt I was constantly in a haze. I couldn't think properly and I would always feel the worst was going to happen.

We met for 6 sessions and at the end, I can honestly say that I finished with the overall feeling that I had sunshine on my brain.
Dan's sister
Thank you for helping Dan with the sessions. I spent the afternoon with him yesterday and he seems so much happier.

Its so nice to have the old cheerful Dan back.

I met with Clare as I had been struggling with my emotions and feeling very overwhelmed.
After our 1st session, I did feel emotional, but good emotions.
After the 2nd session, I started to be more aware of my emotions and how to control them, training my brain not to always go straight to the negative.
Clare really helped me overcome my self doubts and I'm now back to feeling more confident and back to the "old" me.
My Approach
Pragmatic, calm and positive, I am deeply interested in and curious about my clients. Helping people transform is what drew me to this form of coaching with a particular focus on positive psychology.

My general approach is holistic. I believe our work lives, family and private lives are always enmeshed. I draw from a wide range of proven evidence based frameworks, psychological tools and techniques as I don't believe that there is a single approach that works for all, but the common denominator is that you know yourself best and my role is to listen without judgement and support you to find your solution.

My background has been in commercial business, as a co-founder of a busy accountancy practice, with a responsibility for HR. In my experience the process that is HR is not designed for the mental health challenges faced by employers. A desire to be able to "do more" led me to training in mental health and positive psychology so that I can now pro-actively support you, to help yourself and your own mental well-being.

I make 3 promises:
-
I promise a confidential safe space.
-
I promise not to interrupt.
-
I promise you the gift of time to think.
